Lobbytrack Introduces Single Sign-on and Two-Factor Authentication
The new features are designed to improve security and convenience at workplaces.
SAN MATEO, Calif. – Feb 16, 2022 – Lobbytrack,
the widely used visitor-management and space-booking software, has completed the development of its secure single
sign-on and two-factor authentication features. With SSO and 2FA now available in Lobbytrack Web App and Employee
Mobile App, users can sign in using their SSO credentials registered in Okta or other identity management
applications. The development also allows admins to activate two-factor authentication via password and email to add
an additional layer of security to their account.

Lobbytrack Employee App is a versatile mobile application that allows employees to sign into workplaces; schedule
visitor appointments; and book meeting rooms, shared equipment, or even parking spaces from a smartphone or tablet.
With so much functionality built into Lobbytrack, employees are likely to use it several times daily. The
availability of single sign-on enables them to access Lobbytrack using Okta or other SSO services used by their
employers. The single sign-on feature also allows admins to authorize or disable Lobbytrack users by adding or
removing them from Okta.
Two-factor authentication is now available in Lobbytrack with or without Okta. When it is activated from the
Lobbytrack Web App, the Employee App requires double-authentication via password and a unique code that is sent to
the user via email. The feature is designed for workspaces that call for added account protection.
The development is the latest in a row of cloud-to-cloud automations Lobbytrack developers have completed recently.
