Software License

Jolly Software is not sold; rather, copies of Jolly Software are licensed all the way through the distribution channel to the end user governed by the terms and conditions of the Jolly End User License Agreement. For each License granted by Jolly, you may install, activate and use a copy of the Software on one (1) compatible computer. A license for the Software may not be shared, installed or used concurrently on multiple computers. You are granted one (1) Mandatory Product Activation per copy of the Software. If you would like to activate the Software more than once, prior express written permission must be obtained from Jolly. Jolly may grant or deny your request at Jolly's discretion.


Software Activation

Definitions:

Automatic Activation: The default method that Jolly Technologies uses to activate the product when the software client is able to connect to the Jolly Technologies activation server.

Manual Activation: An alternative method that Jolly Technologies uses to provide an activation key when the software client is unable to connect to the Jolly Technologies activation server for an unused license key.

Manual Re-activation: The method that Jolly Technologies uses to provide an activation key when the software client is unable to connect to the Jolly Technologies activation server for a license key that has been activated and successfully deactivated.

New Installation Due to System or Software Failure: The method that Jolly Technologies uses to provide an activation key for a license key that has been activated and has not been successfully deactivated due to system failure.

Manual Activation Requests

Follow these instructions if your license key has never been activated.

  1. Submit an online ticket requesting a manual activation. Include your contact details, license key and hardware ID.

Manual Re-activation Requests

Follow these instructions to activate a license key that has been activated and successfully deactivated.

  1. Submit an online ticket requesting a manual activation. Include your contact details, deactivation key, license key and new hardware ID.

New Installation Due to System or Software Failure Requests

Follow these instructions to request a new activation key for a license key that has been activated and has not been successfully deactivated due to system or software failure.

The license key must be covered by an active Gold or Silver Jolly Technologies Support Plan or Software Assurance Plan. Jolly Technologies will review each request and may grant or deny the request at it's sole discretion.

  1. Complete the Request for New Installation Due to System or Software Failure form.

  2. Submit an online ticket requesting a new installation due to system failure. Include your contact details, license key and hardware ID and a scanned copy of the completed request form.

Note: End of Life products are not eligible for product support or new installation due to system or software failure requests.
